I'll stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
